I was invited to make a piece of art for the new Juddy Roller Brickwall Exhibiton.
The exhibition will feature some of the best local and international talent from around the world, showcased in an outdoor environment easily viewable to the public.
Here are some photos of the artwork I made for the exhibition:
The annual Ill Logic Street Art Exhibition has come back around..
***BUT THIS YEAR IT”S BIGGER!***
We’ve got New Zealand’s Street Artist Misery involved.
Some of Melbourne’s AMAZING Everfresh artists are in.. and a douche from Howick.
Over the last 2 months I’ve been busy spray painting a HUGE art piece to squeeze into this tiny new cafe. My artwork is nearly done.
Just a few more last minute touch ups to go.. but plenty of time to screw it up! Eep. Fingers crossed.
For all my friends and family who can’t make it to Melbourne for the show. A special video is in the works for you!
The entire process, start to finish. From empty wooden boards to exhibition party excitement has/will be filmed.
It’s looking AWESOME so far. So stay tuned.
For those of you in town.. Catch a ride to Fitzroy and come check out my EPIC new spray paint artwork!
Free beer and Cider on the door. (First in first serve)
I decided last week it was time to step away from the computer and give my digital artwork a break for a moment… instead it was time to get my hands covered in paint again!
Its been nearly a year since the Ill Logic Exhibition. I felt it was time to make a new character cut out – The Saint Of Killers character from the ‘Preacher’ comics fitted the description perfectly!
I have an new upcoming exhibition. I’ve been trying my hand at spray painting – and I seem to be doing ok.
Those of you who remember the mermaid piece I drew. Well I used a projector to blow the Diver and Mermaid up Life Size and then sketched them onto 2 huge sheets of plywood. The pencil work blew everyone away and got the promoter really excited. Now my job is not to ruin it with the spray paint.
eep – Next I’ve gotta cut the characters out with a jigsaw (arghhh). And the guys will bolt it to the outside of a warehouse down a small alleyway and throw a street party/exhibition.
Fun times.
The work I seen of the other guys is looking pretty damn cool too so far.
So if your in Fitzroy in 2 weeks time – there is only one place to be…
Come on down to the Cross St Gallery and check out fresh new local illustrators! Wine is on the house, so pretend like your sophiscated and come on down!
